I love life.

And I love living each day to its fullest.
I find it tragic when I hear that someone is not enjoying their retirement.
This is a wonderful stage of life, with the most freedom many of us have ever had to do what we like and what we find fulfilling. Everyone is different, and it’s so important for each person to create their own ideal retirement life.
I've always had a natural ability to enjoy life and inspire others to do the same.
I come from a long career in advertising, broadcasting, office management, and human resources. With all of this experience, I know what it takes to get the most out of life!
I’m now a certified professional coach with a credential from the International Coach Federation. This required over 140 classroom hours and 100+ hours of coaching experience, as well as several exams.
I grew up in Texas, but I never felt at home there. I graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in Radio- TV-Film because, hey!, that sounded like fun. I figured any major that let you watch movies was the right one for me.
In 2014 I retired from a fulfilling position at the National Indian Child Welfare Association where I worked for 17 years. I was first office manager, then supervisor of support staff, and finally HR manager. I also led the publications and IT teams. You could say I wore a lot of hats!
In March of 2014, I followed the advice of others who kept telling me, "you should help others have a good time.” Given their prodding, I decided to create a whole new job title and call myself an "Enjoyment Coach."
Now that I'm a coach, I've learned about the power of being present and just listening. I've discovered the amazing solutions clients can come up with if I'm truly present for them and provide gentle guidance.
My new line of work as "Enjoyment Coach" is the best job I've ever had. It's my mission to serve others by helping them live a fulfilled and happy life. It's what feeds my soul.
